The release date for Disney's live-action adaptation of "The Jungle Book" has been announced as April 15, 2016. The film stars Neel Sethi as Mowgli, Ben Kingsley as Bagheera, and Idris Elba as Shere Khan.
The film is directed by Jon Favreau and produced by Walt Disney Pictures. It is based on the 1894 novel of the same name by Rudyard Kipling.
The story follows Mowgli, a young boy who is raised by wolves in the Indian jungle. He is befriended by Bagheera, a panther, and Baloo, a bear. However, he is also threatened by Shere Khan, a tiger who wants to kill him.
The film is expected to be a major hit for Disney. It is one of the most anticipated films of 2016.
